The Test Bench Server installation follows these main steps:

Step 1 - Pre-requisites

This procedure requires that you already have:

• The physical server that will be used
• The installation package that we should have provided you with
• The smartphones
• The network flows authorized

Step 2 - Server Setup

• Extract the package
• Edit the configuration file config.yml

• Run the script ./install-testbench-prerequisites.sh with root rights

• Run the script ./install-testbench-server.sh with root rights
• Plug the Plugwise USB Dongle into to the server

Step 3 - Devices Setup

• Gather the smartphones and the Plugwise Circles
• For each smartphone that you intend to use:
  • Go into Settings > Developers tools, and enable USB Debugging
  • Connect it with a PC and execute the command adb tcpip 5555
  • Unplug it from the computer
  • Get the smartphone IP address (Settings > About phone > Status)
  • The smartphone is now ready
  • Connect the smartphone to a Plugwise Circle
